Annette Carter was the owner of The Art Chalet for 20 years in Liberty Lake.

She taught basic drawing skills, charcoal, pen & ink, pastel chalks, watercolor, acrylics on canvas, mixed media and oils and was the president of Spokane watercolor society.

She is now owner, manager and teacher of ValleyGirls Vintage Market and Classes—focusing on 'Paint & Sip' Classes ( non-alcoholic) for girls and women ( age 12 to adult).

She also teaches watercolor and acrylics as well as specializing in ‘Home Portrait' Commissions, having painted most of the vintage homes on Lilac Lane in Liberty Lake. 

Annette is married to Dr. Pat Carter–owner & manager of Spokane Cat Clinic, raised 4 kids, has 4 grandkids, & loves her 'high maintenance cat Buddy.  She enjoys reading, swimming, traveling, decorating and in her (spare?) time, runs an Airbnb/VRBO during the summer in her home.
